GENESIS
Genesis Roberts was always an athlete, but her journey to becoming a certified personal trainer and nutritionist was never planned. Genesis's professional journey started while studying to be a tailor. She was looking to finance this dream, and by happenstance, she began working at LA Fitness. To her surprise, what was supposed to be just a means to an end, became a way of life, and she fell in love with fitness and athletics all over again.
Fast forward eight years later, Genesis is leaving her mark on the fitness industry. During the early stages of the pandemic, she grabbed her phone and began posting herself doing at-home workouts on social media. To her surprise, it took off, as did the demand. The simple how-to videos became requests for personal training; in response, she established a burgeoning fitness business- Gyminigen.
At just 25 years old, she has already amassed an impressive roster of clients that continues to grow. What’s even more impressive are the results she helps her clients obtain. Genesis's method of training is straightforward she is mission-focused, and she pushes her clients to recognize how strong they can be.
CICI
CiCi Shannon is a passionate ACE-certified personal trainer and a former Division-1 turned semi-professional basketball player. Her primary goals are to help women look better and feel better as well.
After completing her career overseas, she moved back home and discovered her knack for helping women transform their bodies and lifestyle.
She has utilized the strength training techniques she learned while playing Division-1 basketball and has transitioned them over to developing women’s physiques.
CiCi not only has changed the physique of hundreds of women but also has taught them how to live a healthy lifestyle.
Her mission is to change the way women look, feel, exercise, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
ANASTASIA
Anastasia is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. After a vacation in 2014 where she was forced to commute mainly by walking, she discovered that she was living unhealthily and was struggling to walk. She returned home and immediately started her own personal fitness journey - now 10 years ago - by simply walking 5 miles every day. 2 years after starting her weight loss journey, Anastasia took an interest in weightlifting and strength training which helped her to lose over 100 lbs naturally.
Now, as a competitive bodybuilder and full time fitness coach, Anastasia dedicates her life to helping others find their why to living their most healthy lives and discovering how strong they are inside and outside of the gym. She believes that weightlifting is not only beneficial to the look of our bodies but also to the strength of our minds.
Anastasia hold certifications in personal training and nutrition, but also in Pain Free Performance, Hypertrophy Optimization and Sleep, Stress and Recovery Coaching, as well.
